Books and Bevs is a fledgling Bookshop and Drinks business, based in York, North Yorkshire.

Our aim is to curate a welcoming space in the thriving cultural city of York, pairing excellent reads with creative hospitality.

The owners of Books and Bevs have had careers in general management of Bars, Pubs, Bistro’s and Theatres, and having now expanded their family are wanting to set-up shop to work for themselves in an environment they are truly passionate about - independent bookstores.

We have just opened our bricks and mortar shop in Acomb, a busy suburb of York; whilst operating our pop-up at the Speakcheesey on Fossgate in the city centre. For those of you that attended our Books & Cheese evening on National Bookshop Day, we want to give you a big thankyou - without the success of this event we wouldn’t be where we are now! Also a bigger thankyou to the Big Cheese, Jordan, for his support from day one.
